Our Policies

*** COVID-19 policy deviations: Refunds will NOT be issued for reservations made AFTER the Covid-19 pandamic has been made public. Guest assumes all responsibility for their actions. By making a reservation for accommodations or purchasing show tickets, the guest is aware that COVID-19 exists and it is out of the control of this establishment if events, plans and outings cannot occur because of any mandates set by federal or local governments. We may issue gift certificates or change the arrival date for guests that call within a reasonable period of time, allowing us to book the cottage to another person or group. If guest has booked with a 3rd party, guest must call 3rd party to cancel or change dates.

SHOW & TICKET POLCIES:

All persons attending the show will need to follow social distancing and compliance with Covid-19 safety precautions. Masks are required unless you are seated. Tickets are required for all non-guests, a seat is needed for each person and a ticket for each seat. Doors open at 7 pm and there will be no early admittance. Tickets are sold in pairs and seats are spaced to accommodate each pair of tickets. Tickets are good only for the show they are purchased for. If a show is cancelled due to unforeseen events, Artist illness or weather, tickets will be good for a rescheduled date that will be announced. NO PETS are permitted at the shows. If you need special accommodations please call our office to best fit your needs. ALL SHOW EVENTS ARE BYOB. There are NO drink sales at this location. Ice chests are permitted. 

ACCOMMODATION POLICIES:

Pets

We are a non-pet property. Please respect this policy.  A cleaning fee of up to $250 may be assessed.

Smoking/Vaping

All of our rooms are smoke/vape free. This includes your porch/balcony, and other sitting areas on the property. Smoking/Vaping violations will be subject to a fee of up to $250.

Damages

Any damages to the property, furnishings, missing items or linens (including linens that will need special attention or additional time to remove soil, spills or makeup) shall be the responsibility of the guest and will be charged to the credit card on file. Makeup cloths and remover wipes have been provided to try to prevent us from charging for the additional time to cleaning linens, there are also old linens under the kitchen/bathroom sinks in a white bucket for spills or cleaning dirt, mud, or accidents.

Deposit/Payment

We run the first night’s stay + tax on a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express) at the time of booking. The balance is due upon arrival (limit 2 transactions per reservation at check-in). We do require a credit card on file for all reservations. Our tax rate is 13% (7% local and 6% state tax).

Cancellation

Because of our size, cancellations affect the Gruene Cottages significantly.  There will be NO REFUND of the deposit paid, however, gift certificates may be issued at Management's discretion.  *Reservations not made directly with Gruene Cottages are subject to the fees described in the booking terms at the time the reservation was made.

Children

We welcome children in any of our rooms, but require at least one parent or guardian to accompany any children while on the property including the pool area.

Occupancy/ Extra Person Fees

Room rates are listed with each room description and are based on maximum occupancy. Extra guests, where permitted, are charged $25 per night. (Additional charge for rollaway bed, if available and if there is space in designated room)

Minimum Age to Reserve a Room

There must be an adult of 21 years or older in each cottage or guest room. Cottages/rooms must be booked by an adult, 21yrs or older.

Check in/ Check out

Rooms are available for check in at 3:00pm.

Check out is 11:00am.

Minimum Night Stays

A two night minimum are usually required for weekend stays, and a three night minimum for most holidays. Please call our office to inquire about deviations from this policy.

Housekeeping/ Room Services

We offer a daily housekeeping service between 10am and 2pm. Housekeeping will refresh your room with towels and toiletries. Unfortunately, a “Do Not Disturb” sign will prevent them from entering your room for any reason. 

***COVID-19 Housekeeping Change: Housekeepers will not enter the room after it has been occupied by a guest, unless there is an emergency. Housekeepers will leave reqested refresh items at the guests door. Requests can be made by calling our office at 830-625-5818.

Parking

We offer free on-property parking.  Please use good manners. Parking spots are assigned to some rooms. Check with office if you are not sure where to park upon arrival.

Lost and Found

We hold items for 7 days, and then contribute appropriate items to chartiy.  If claimed, we ship USPS and add the charge to your account.

Firearms

No open carry firearms, please.

Swimming Pool

Follow the posted rules.  PLEASE don't take glass into the pool area.  Pool towels are provided, one per person. Please do not use bathing towels from the room in the pool area. Pool open hours are 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. (Hours may change for winter season.) Gates will be locked at 10:00 pm for cleaning. Pool is heated during winter season.
